'Conscious America’ is a site designed, in hope, to show that we can control many critical aspects of our lives, if we choose to accept responsibility for the choices that we make.

Exit Strategy in IraqDate Released: 05/08/2005
I remember quite vividly as our teachers and adults were advising the children to do our best when trying to complete a task, whatever the task may be. And as we get older the same teachings are reinforced: "If you do something well, you won't have to do it a second time".

To do something well we have to focus on our goal. So when I hear our representatives in the government talk about the "Exit Strategy in Iraq", I wonder if they were raised on the same planet as the rest of us; no wonder, republicans had no answer. And why would they? Their goal is somewhat dubious, considering how much evil (“mistakes”) this government committed in Iraq and Afghanistan that contradicts “our aim” - to succeed in Iraq and make the place safe from the terrorists. This is our goal.
This is what we are trying to achieve - peace in Iraq, the result of which will be the return of our soldiers and improved safety for all the people on the planet.

How can you focus on the "Exit Strategy" and achieve the peace at the same time? No wonder so many of the government sponsored programs are failing - they focus on the "Exit Strategy" or 'How to blame others if this fails' - as the program begins. The only people who would want us to divert our attention towards the "Exit Strategy" are the ones who want us to fail. The only ones to gain from this are the terrorists.

I hope that we continue to teach our children to do their best, so we would not have to do things twice, or pay for the failures we make. And of course, we should follow the same principals.
